Ashley Tisdale: I don’t understand the fuss about Zac Efron

Ashley Tisdale has said she doesn’t understand all the fuss about her High School Musical co-star Zac Efron.

Ashley, who plays Sharpay in the film series, explained recently: “Zac is definitely hot, but I never realised. He’s a great actor, but I still don’t understand what everyone’s making the fuss about.

“I’ve never looked at Zac that way because he’s always been like a younger brother to me. The hysteria over him is all rather surreal.

“Girls go crazy over him, but I’ve just never been attracted to him in that way. I’m three years older than him, but that makes a major difference when you are young. When I first met him he was 12 and looked 12 years old whereas I was 15 going on 16.”

But she conceeds he does have a certain way with the ladies: “Zac is a total charmer. It’s true that he has a way of wowing girls which gives every one of them the hope that they could be his girlfriend. He really knows how to connect with the fans.”
