Katie Holmes and Suri CruiseWhile most celebrity babies have playdates-a-plenty, Suri Cruise is reportedly desperate for friends her own age.

A source told the New York Post that the two year old, currently based in the city while mum Katie Holmes performs on Broadway, gets over-excited when she meets any children: “Whenever she sees kids, she gets excited and runs up to them and hugs them as if she never gets to see kids her own age.

“There’s not a lot of socialization there.”

Over recent weeks, Suri has been frequently spotted heading to rehearsals with mum Katie or out and about shopping with Katie and dad Tom Cruise.
