kate mossKate Moss has reportedly given up alcohol as part of her reconciliation with Jamie Hince.

The supermodel is said to have split from Jamie last month after a series of rows about her love of partying - but got back together again at the start of this month after talking through their issues.

A source close to Kate told the Mirror that Kate’s drinking was a major problem for Jamie: “Kate has been partying non-stop for years. At every working event she attends there is unlimited champagne available.

“Even during photoshoots and hair appointments Kate’s offered something alcoholic. It’s just the way it is in the industry.

“Since she has rekindled her love with Jamie she knows these leisurely drinks need to stop. Kate is older and wiser now and wants to settle down. Obviously she loves to socialise but she has realised she doesn’t need a drink in her hand to do it.

“She’d vowed to not go out as much and now she’s decided to not touch a drop of alcohol unless it’s a special occasion.

“People may think it’s on Jamie’s orders but, although he is delighted, it is all Kate’s own doing. She wants to change her lifestyle.

“She had a fridge full of champagne at home so she could entertain guests when they came over. But that’s no more. The booze has been sent to her pals and is being replaced with soft drinks so she’s not tempted to have a sneaky glass.

“Kate has decided the party girl she once was is no more. She just wants to concentrate on the important things, like her family and her career.”
