Angelina Jolie: we’ll adopt again soon

Angelina Jolie has said she and Brad Pitt are already planning their next adoption and it’ll happen “soon”.

Speaking on the Today show this morning, the Changeling star explained that it’s in progress but hinted it won’t happen until at least early next year because they want to give time for their family to adjust to the arrival of twins Knox and Vivienne over the summer: “You can’t even start the process until any new children are six months old, to understand how the new family has settled.”

The twins brought the couple’s number of children up to six and she joked that their eldest child seven year old son Maddox is now “the professional big brother”: “He’s done it so many times.”

She added: “We have so many children that they’re not really stunned any more when kids come home.

“They’re all at that great age that they are not threatened. They’re independent. They don’t need Mommy and Daddy all the time.”
