Madonna convinced Guy Ritchie is going to be a gold-digger?

Madonna is reportedly convinced that Guy Ritchie is determined to take a large slice of her estimated £300million.

In the past five days since the couple announced their intention to divorce, sources close to the Snatch director have claimed that Guy wanted “not one penny” from the star and later that he was willing to accept a settlement of around £20million in cash and property, when he could be entitled to considerably more.

But according to the Sun, Madonna is convinced he’s going to go after the full figure - estimated to be around £70million - and she’s quoted as telling a friend: “I’m totally devastated that Guy’s turned out to be such a gold-digger.

“I thought we’d been on a spiritual journey together for the past ten years - but obviously I was wrong. He’s just after my money.

“I’ve worked my ass off for the last 30 years to get what I have, and now this gold-digger wants to take it from me.

“Kabbalah philosophy teaches that you don’t take what you haven’t earned. Well that’s exactly what Guy is doing. He hasn’t earned a penny of it, yet wants to take, take, take.

“He keeps upping his demands - he just wants more, and more, and more from me. It’s unbelievable.”

Madonna’s spokesperson has refused to comment on settlement rumours but said that nothing has been finalised yet. The couple are said to be hoping to finalise the details of the divorce amicably to avoid a public court battle.
