Pushing Daisies’ Anna Friel: I’ll stay in LA now
Pushing Daisies star Anna Friel has said she now considers Los Angeles her home.
After a decade of flying over to the US for work, the actress moved to LA in 2006 with long-term partner David Thewlis and their three year old daughter Gracie when Anna landed the role in the quirky comedy.
She told Page Six Magazine recently: “You know, I’d always thought we’d go back [to the UK], but David and I had that conversation the other day asking, #What happens if Pushing Daisies doesn’t continue - would we go back then?’
“I’m really settled so now I’m not sure. I think my life has sent me in this direction and that I should be here.”
But that’s not to say she’s succumbing to Hollywood’s trends - like becoming super-skinny: “I’m not going to come to LA and be anorexic. I’ve still got shape.
“I eat healthily because that’s how I was brought up - I never reach for the Cocoa Puffs in the morning.
“[But] I’m really, really bad at eating vegetables, and I know by juicing them you don’t get the fibre, but at least I’ll get my vitamin intake.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
