Angelina Jolie: I’m “the real Angelina” now I’m a mum

Angelina Jolie has said she feels a “lot braver” but less ambitious than she did a few years ago - but is now “the real Angelina”.

Speaking to the Italian edition of Vanity Fair recently, the 33 year old mum of six explained that her acting ambition has waned in favour of motherhood: “The kids are my priority, so it’s possible that from now on I will make fewer movies. I may even stop altogether,” Jolie tells the Italian edition of Vanity Fair. “I no longer have the ambition I had in my 20s.

“In reality my life is a lot more chaotic and adventurous now. Brad [Pitt] and I pilot airplanes, we travel non-stop, we go to difficult places and we have chosen to do it taking all of the kids with us.

“I feel a lot braver now than when I was an angry young woman. I knew little about the world and I was completely self-absorbed. It was only when I came out of my shell and started taking care of others that I found the real Angelina.”
