Mandy MooreMandy Moore has reportedly got back together with ex-boyfriend Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein just a month after he was nearly killed in a plane crash.

The couple dated for just around two months in early 2007 - shortly after Adam broke up from long-term girlfriend Nicole Richie - but have remained good friends since then, and a source close to AM told Us Weekly that the plane crash has brought them even closer together again.

The source explained: “It’s back on. Since the accident, it’s blossomed into something again.

“Mandy said, ‘I like this guy a lot and I want to see where it can go again. Life is too short to not be with someone you really care about.’

Mandy flew to AM’s hospital bedside in Augusta, Georgia after the crash and is said to have been spotted holding AM’s hand and “rubbing each other’s backs” at an event in Beverly Hills at the weekend.

A second source added: “When you go through what Adam went through, you need people you love and people who love you. He will never stop loving her.”

Four people died when a private plane carrying AM and friend Travis Barker crashed during take-off following a gig in South Carolina. Both men were badly burned in the incident and Travis has been undergoing reconstructive surgery on his torso and arms over the last few weeks.
