vanessa hudgensVanessa Hudgens loves the fact that the High School Musical films are “feelgood movies” with positive messages, but her favourite thing about it is all the friends she has made doing the series.

She explained recently: “The best part of it was the friends I’ve made. We’ve grown up in the business together, we’ve been through so much and shared so many moments.

“The last day of shooting was very emotional because we’ve always been able to look forward to doing something else together, like a tour or another movie.

“But just knowing that this was our last time as a group was… ugh! I can’t even talk about it. We just kept on crying and crying.”

Without a doubt her favourite person from the movies is boyfriend Zac Efron: “It was hard not to have chemistry with someone who is quite attractive.

“He’s got great things in his future, so we’re just excited to see where it all goes next.”

But she doubts they’ll work together on the screen again: “We’re both supportive of each other, but we’re doing our own things. We have different projects we’re working on.”

High School Musical 3: Senior Year was released in the UK on Wednesday and is released in the US today.
