Duffy: my twin sister is enjoying my fame for me

With global chart success and award nominations by the bucketload, Duffy has said she’s too busy to enjoy her fame - so her twin sister is doing it for her.

The Mercy singer explained recently: “Katy’s really bad. She loves all the glamour, the fun and the attention.

“She’s single and it knocks the socks off anybody she meets when she says she’s my twin sister. She’s immediately on to the third date!

“She’ll go to a club and as soon as they find out she’s my sister she gets star treatment - private booth and free drinks.

“There I am somewhere else in the world working and I don’t get a moment to have fun, to get drunk, to let my hair down.

“I don’t get five minutes to myself but I get Katy to tell me what it’s like to have a night on the town. She assures me it’s terrific.”
