Kerry Katona adamant to prove she’s not an alcoholic

Kerry Katona is reportedly so keen to disprove suggestions she has a drinking problem, she’s signed up for a serious of medical tests.

Rumours of a drinking problem picked up a pace after Kerry’s slurred interview on This Morning last week - but she insists the slurring was a side effect of her bipolar medication.

She told the Mirror: “It’s just not right. I’m going to Harley Street to have a test to show that I’m not an alcoholic. I am going to publish the results.

“I’m being attacked for an illness. My slurring words is down to the pills.”

But the former Atomic Kitten star won’t be publishing the details in her OK! magazine column - because she’s reportedly lost the writing job.

A source told the Sun that she is terrified her advertising deal with Iceland will also fall through: “She will be very worried. She relied on the magazine job for cash.

“She now only has hubby Mark to rely on.”

Earlier this year, Kerry was ruled bankrupt after failing to pay an outstanding tax bill. She claims that the legal ruling has since been rescinded after she paid off the debt.
