David BeckhamDavid Beckham’s decision to play for AC Milan during his LA Galaxy off-season has reportedly upset more than just wife Victoria Beckham.

A source told the People newspaper that friend Robbie Williams had been banking on some expert training from the soccer star to help kick-start his amateur team LA Vale and his friends are now worried that he’ll get depressed if it doesn’t happen.

The source explained: “Robbie’s friends know he loves the team and they reckon it stops him from getting down in the dumps.

“Beckham had planned to train them pre-season but that was before he decided to go to AC Milan.

“Instead he will do a few sessions before he goes and will be on call over the phone.”

Victoria Beckham is said to have refused to accompany David to Italy for his four month stint with the club because she doesn’t want to disrupt their sons’ schooling. The couple have three boys: nine year old Brooklyn, six year old Romeo and three year old Cruz.
