Mel B’s four day vow renewal celebration in Egypt
Melanie Brown and Stephen Belafonte are treating friends to a four day luxury break this week to celebrate the couple renewing their wedding vows.
The couple married in a secret, quickie ceremony in Las Vegas in June 2007 but have always pledged to renew their vows to allow their family and friends to celebrate their union with them.
Now the former Spice Girl has arranged an all expenses paid trip to Egypt for the group - and is said to have signed a £200,000 deal with OK magazine to cover the event.
According to the News of the World, the four day celebration starts with an “an outrageously fun treasure hunt that Mel came up with herself”: “Guests are also invited to dine at one of the hotel’s five restaurants and enjoy a folklore show after dinner.
“The couple renew their vows on day two.
“The day after the wedding Mel and Stephen have arranged for guests to take in the red sea on a luxury diving boat.”
Mel is said to have invited a number of celebrity friends to the ceremony including Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding and Strictly Come Dancing star Rachel Stevens but neither can attend due to prior commitments.
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
