Peaches Geldof accused of another shoplifting incident

Peaches Geldof has reportedly been accused of attempting to steal clothes from a London boutique for the third time in two years.

According to the Sunday Mirror, the socialite was browsing clothes at the East London boutique Luna + Curious recently. After she left, a member of the staff noticed that an item was missing so followed Peaches, finding her in another shop nearby. A source told the newspaper that Peaches claimed to have taken the garment by accident and returned to Luna + Curious to pay for it.

The shop source explained: “My colleague was shocked. Her behaviour was absolutely unbelievable in the shop before the incident happened. She was acting very bizarrely.

“The matter is closed, but an apology would have been nice.”

Peaches was previously accused of attempting to shoplift a coat from Urban Outfitters in 2006 and taking and damaging a dress from a Carnaby Street boutique earlier this year. Both incidents were dismissed by her spokespeople as “misunderstandings”.
