Suzanne ShawDancing on Ice winner Suzanna Shaw has revealed she was scared to announce her engagement in case it jinxed the relationship.

DJ Jason King proposed to the former Hear’Say star in August but after being dumped by Darren Day while heavily pregnant, Suzanne told Closer magazine recently that she worries their relationship will fail: “Getting engaged was a scary step.

“I don’t want to be with anyone else but Jason, but I’m scared it might all end tomorrow - it has before.

“I’ve been a little bit put off commitment by Darren, so I’ve always got my barriers up. But, I’d love to have more kids with Jason.”

Suzanne became depressed, developed an alcohol problem and was close to broke after Darren left her in 2005, just weeks before she gave birth to their son Corey.
