Victoria told Vogue magazine recently that the couple exchanged the gold and silver necklaces recently and they represent the Archangel Raphael, an angel mentioned in the Old Testament who is considered one of the most powerful and loving angels in Heaven.

She explained: “They were hand carved by a master carver in Japan, who spends most days in meditation before working.

“The energy they emit is incredibly powerful. These pieces act as talismans of love, healing and protection.”

The couple are set to spend the winter on separate continents after David signed to play for AC Milan during the Los Angeles Galaxy’s off-season but Victoria refused to move their three sons to Italy for the brief duration of the contract.
