Sophie Ellis-BextorSophie Ellis-Bextor has confirmed that she’s pregnant with her second child.

Sophie and husband Richard Jones, bass guitarist from The Feeling, already have a four year old son, Sonny and she confirmed on her website yesterday that come next spring, Sonny will have a younger sibling.

She said: “I am very happy to share with you all the news that I am having another baby.

“I am due at the beginning of April and naturally the Ellis-Bextor-Joneses are thrilled that Sonny will soon have a little brother or sister.”

Sophie’s fourth studio album is scheduled for release in January next year.
