The couple originally began dating in 2004 after meeting on the set of The Notebook but split in 2007. In July this year, they were spotted kissing at a restaurant in Toronto, Canada then together at various parties and events.

However a source has told Us Weekly that they’ve now split up again: “They broke up the first time because of their busy schedules - and that’s the problem again.”

But the source added: “Rachel is [also] too controlling.”
