madonnaMadonna is reportedly begging friend Gwyneth Paltrow to relocate from London to New York with her.

The pair are said to have become close over the last few years, bonding over the fact they were both ex-pats in London as well as high-profile celebrity mums, and Madonna is said to be worried the friendship will end.

A source told the Sun: “Madonna and Gwyneth are bosom buddies. Gwyn was a rock to Madonna while she was considering whether to leave Guy - she had strong views on the situation.

“They were in constant contact during the difficult period and Madonna really valued Gwyneth’s advice.

“Madge is desperately sad to be leaving one of her best friends behind and has been urging her to join her in the Big Apple.”

Gwyneth moved to London in 2003 after marrying Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. The couple, and their children Apple & Moses, currently divide their time between their homes in London and the US.

Madonna was based in London during her almost eight year marriage to Guy Ritchie but is determined to move back to the US with the couple’s three children after splitting from Guy last month.
