christina applegateChristina Applegate has revealed she’s bringing forward her plans for motherhood after finding out she has an increased likelihood of ovarian cancer.

The Samantha Who? star had a double mastectomy over the summer after being diagnosed with breast cancer and now, after finding out she has a gene which raises her chances of getting the ovarian form of the disease, she explained she’s going to bring forward her plans to have children: “The [doctors] suggest you kind of get on it before you’re a certain age so that they can remove your ovaries.

“That definitely makes a big difference in my timetable.

“Everything has to be a process, though. It’ll happen. It’s just not gonna happen right now.”

But her cancer over the summer has made her more spontaneous about some things: “I started looking for a beach house the day I found out I had this little disease.

“You just kind of go, ‘What are you waiting for to get the things that you want and the things you dream of?’

“I don’t own tomorrow or yesterday - today is all I’ve got. And if I don’t make today good, then I’m only gonna’ be p*ssed off tomorrow!”
