Amy Winehouse refuses to pay for Blake Fielder-Civil’s rehab
Amy Winehouse has reportedly refused to pay £30,000 for her husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s rehab.
Blake was released early from his prison sentence on Wednesday under the condition that he went straight into treatment. He was driven straight from HMP Edmunds Hill in Surrey to the nearby Life Works Community centre in Woking to start a seven-week programme in his ongoing efforts to beat his drug addiction - but his time at the clinic might be disrupted now that Amy is said to refusing to pay for the treatment.
A source close to the couple told the Sun that Amy is not sure whether their marriage is worth saving: “[He] has a lot of work to do [to convince her it is].
“Blake thought he would click his fingers and she’d stump up the 30 grand. But so far she has refused. He’s not happy.”
Amy’s dad Mitch Winehouse explained that despite her previous passion for the relationship, Amy’s amour has cooled recently and she hasn’t visited him in jail for months: “Amy hasn’t seen him for ages, I don’t think she cares one bit.
“Blake is a no-hoper. I want Amy to forget about him. The best thing that could possibly happen is for them to go their separate ways.”
Unable to leave the facility and banned from having visitors for his first seven days of treatment, Blake was left yesterday passing messages to his wife via the media, telling reporters at the scene: “Tell Amy, ‘I love you and I wish I could be with you.’ I just can’t wait to get this over and done with and see Amy again.”
