Cheryl Cole “bitterly regrets” selling wedding photos to a magazine

Cheryl Cole reportedly regrets the public nature of her wedding to Ashley Cole.

The Girls Aloud star married footballer Ashley in a lavish, celebrity-studded ceremony in 2006 and sold exclusive coverage of the event to a magazine for a rumoured £500,000.

However, a source close to the Girls Aloud star has now told Heat magazine that Cheryl regrets signing the deal: “She bitterly regrets selling her wedding in the first place. She wishes that she hadn’t.

“Cheryl agreed to do it at the time because Girls Aloud hadn’t made a lot of money and she didn’t want Ashley paying for everything.

“But if she could do it again, she wouldn’t have sold it to a magazine. She hates that she did.”

Cheryl also recently denied rumours that the couple are planning to renew their wedding vows, dismissing the idea as “tacky as hell”.
