Jessica SimpsonJessica Simpson has said she now realises why her marriage to Nick Lachey didn’t work.

The couple married in October 2002 and had the first two and a half years of their marriage filmed for MTV reality show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. However, they separated in late 2005 and their divorce was finalised in June 2006.

Now Jessica is dating Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, she explained she’s got new perspective on the marriage and on her new relationship: “I’d always fall for guys I wanted to save.

“[With Tony] I fell in love with someone who saved me.

“Nick will always be a part of my life but next time, I’m marrying the right one. If I get married again, then it will be the last time.”
