Alesha Dixon abandons autobiography plans: I don’t want to lay my soul out
Alesha Dixon has said she’s scrapped her plans to release an autobiography because she doesn’t want to tell-all about her private life.
The singer first rose to fame in girl band Mis-Teeq but her attempts at a solo career stalled until she won Strictly Come Dancing last year and now her solo album is set for release in the UK next week. But it is her private life - her marriage to MC Harvey which ended when he had an affair wtih Alesha’s one-time friend Javine Hylton - that she doesn’t want to talk about.
She told the People newspaper recently: “I changed my mind [about writing the book].
“I wouldn’t do it now because you have to be prepared to lay your soul on the line.
“The perception of celebrities who write books is that they are being vindictive and that isn’t me.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
