Peaches Geldof to divorce husband after just 96 days of marriage?

Peaches Geldof is reportedly divorcing husband Max Drummey - after just 96 days of marriage.

The socialite married the Chester French musician in a quickie ceremony in Las Vegas at the start of August after just a few weeks of dating. Shortly afterwards, Peaches admitted she didn’t go into the marriage thinking it would last forever but: “I love him right now and I know that I will continue to love him for a long while”.

However, an inside source told the News of the World: “Peaches is going to divorce Max. She woke up to realise the marriage was a huge mistake and that Max is not the man of her dreams.

“She doesn’t fancy him any more, and wants to move on. To her it is as simple as that. She just wants to divorce him and find a new boyfriend.

“Max is heartbroken. He has been through the mill in the last three months, but there is nothing he can do. He genuinely believed marriage was a long term commitment, but Peaches has shattered his dreams.”

“Her father [Bob Geldof] is relieved that she is not unhappy in a relationship any more, but is still very concerned about her alarming behaviour.

“Peaches is just not mature enough for a proper relationship. She was just kidding herself.”

A spokesperson for Peaches said last night: “Like most couples, Peaches and Max have their ups and downs, and things might be said in the heat of the moment.

“But they are still together and they are not divorcing.”
