Mariah Carey: Nick Cannon and I saved sex until we were married

Mariah Carey has revealed that she and husband Nick Cannon waited until their wedding night to have sex with each other.

The couple married in the Bahamas at the end of April after a whirlwind two month romance after meeting while filming a music video together.

She told the Mirror recently that she believes it was worth the wait: “I definitely don’t want to push it on anybody else. It’s just me, and my feelings.

“But we both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married.

“And it was, and it still is.

“It’s not that we had no intimacy [before the wedding], we just didn’t have complete intimacy.”

Mariah was previously married to Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola.
