Sophie Anderton arrested after threatening to kill herself in front of ex

Sophie Anderton was arrested yesterday after threatening to kill herself in the early hours of the morning.

The former supermodel was said to have been “in a bad way” after splitting from property developer boyfriend Ed Buxton earlier in the month and reportedly turned up at his luxury London home around 2am yesterday.

One neighbour told the Sun: “Sophie was off her face. She kept shouting, ‘I’ll kill myself if you won’t take me back.’

“She said she didn’t want to live without him. She was scratching at her wrists and saying, ‘I could do it, who would care? Nobody cares’.

“Ed kept saying they’d talk things over but she kept wrestling him away and screaming. Ed was very upset. He obviously cares for her.

“She was drugged up to her eyeballs and no one could calm her down so Ed called 999.”

But another source close to the pair added: “She said she’d slashed her wrists, but the injuries were not severe. It was a cry for help.”

Earlier this year, Sophie said she was “lucky to be alive” after 12 years of drug abuse.
