jennifer anistonJennifer Aniston has said she didn’t want to make a big deal with her comments about ex-husband Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, and about new love John Mayer, in her recent Vogue interview - she was just telling the truth about how she feels.

Speaking on The Oprah Winfrey Show today, she explained: “[The Vogue interviewer] asked me a question and I basically just answered it as honestly as I could.

“[Brad]’s done some amazing things in the last couple of years so I just think he’s doing great.”

She reiterated her “not unlucky in love” comments too, saying: “I’ve been unbelievably lucky in love. It just might not look the way it’s supposed to look at this point.”

She also turned momentarily to their professional lives, saying she has no desire to compete with Brad when both of their new films - his The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and her Marley & Me - both open in the US on Christmas Day: “We all want our movies to do well…Can we have a tie?”
