madonnaMadonna is reportedly exchanging love letters with Alex Rodriguez while they’re apart from each other.

The couple have been dodging and denying romance rumours since July and aside from rumoured secret rendezvouses, have been keeping their distance from one another while Madonna has been touring the US and Canada.

But a source told the Chicago Sun-Times that they’ve been keeping in constant touch during their time apart: “[Alex has been writing] sweet, personal and rambling expressions of his feelings. Sort of like old-fashioned love notes.

“[Madonna says] has the heart of a poet trapped inside an insanely gorgeous body.”

The New York Yankees player is said to be planning to join the star on her forthcoming tour dates in South America. Madonna split from husband Guy Ritchie last month.
