britney spears and madonnaBritney Spears has reportedly cancelled her plans to join Madonna on stage again so she can spend more time with her children.

According to the Sun, after her well-received appearance in Los Angeles last week, Britney was planning to join Madonna on stage in Miami for her final US tour date later this month.

But with commitments to already be away from her boys Sean and Jayden - appearing on the French version of X Factor, Star Academy and promoting her new album which is released in the UK on 1st December - Britney has decided she’d rather spend the time with her sons, especially as it’s the run-up to Thanksgiving.

A source told the newspaper: “Britney had always agreed to perform in Miami but her circumstances have changed over the past couple of months.

“She and [ex-husband Kevin Federline] are getting along fine now, Britney will have Sean and Jayden just before the holiday and Kevin will spend Thanksgiving day with them.”

Britney lost shared custody of the boys around a year ago and currently sees the three year old and two year old for two day-time visits and one overnight stay a week. Over the weekend, Britney took the boys to her hometown in Louisiana to spend time with their family over there - but ended up rushing Jayden to hospital after he had an allergic reaction to some food.
