Rumours began to swirl about the couple after Kelly was spotted wearing a new shiny ring on her ring finger, then Luke confirmed the news of his Facebook profile.

A friend of the couple’s told the People newspaper: “Kelly and Luke have made it clear that they adore each other, so it was no surprise.

“They’ve been considering marriage for a while and are very serious about wanting to spend their lives together.

“Their families were concerned at first that they are so young, but they just want to see them happy.”
