Jessica AlbaJessica Alba has said she’s loving every bit of being a mum - even the poopy bits.

Speaking at the Keep A Child Alive charity event in New York on Thursday, she told People magazine that it’s a delight to be caring for her five month old daughter Honor Marie.

She explained: “Everything is cute, everything is fun including the explosive diarrhoea - the best ever.

“It brings family together. It brings friends together. It makes every decision that you make that much more important.

“She’s the love of my life. The love is profound. She gives everything more meaning.”

She added she loves watching the baby girl develop and is waiting on her first word: “I think she accidentally says ‘Mama’ when she’s crying. But I don’t know if it is on purpose yet.”

Honor is Jessica’s first child with husband Cash Warren.
