Pete Wentz: I was a super late bloomer when it came to girls
Pete Wentz has revealed he was a bit of a late starter when it came to girls - and his first crush was on a cartoon character.
He told Elle magazine recently that his first sexual feelings were towards “Cheetara, the girl from ThunderCats“: “She was really fast and had this baton that would extend.”
He insists it’s not that weird because she’s not an animal: “they’re aliens from the planet Thundera that land on a planet called Third Earth. I could get so nerdy on you.”
But as for human girls from Earth, he was a little more unsure: “I wasn’t sure where the girl’s genitalia sat compared to males. I wish I’d had GPS in high school because I had no clue where I was going.
“I guess on a man [the penis] feels like it’s closer to the belly button. On a girl, it’s farther down.
“I’ll be honest: I was a superlate bloomer, and I was kind of a prude.”
But he doesn’t mind that he wasn’t getting in on all over town: “I always wanted to be able to keep the number of people I’ve had sex with very low, because I never wanted to have to tell my future wife, ‘Oh, yeah, I was with 30 people.’
“I’d make out with a lot of people but not go beyond that.”
Pete and wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz welcomed their first child, a son named Bronx Mowgli, on Thursday evening.
