Leona Lewis: being photographed in my bikini was horrid

Leona Lewis has said one of the worst things about being famous is having to face photos of her in a bikini in the media.

The X Factor winner was photographed in her swimwear while on holiday with boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa in Barbados earlier in the year.

She told Closer magazine recently: “Being pictured in my bikini was a nightmare, especially for somebody like me.

“I’m a normal-sized girl and it’s embarrassing.

“Nobody in their right mind wants to see rough-looking bikini shots of themselves from every dodgy angle. It was horrid.”

She added that she isn’t desperate to have perfect body but credits “riding horses and doing spinning classes” with helping her stay in shape.
