Following on from the videos we featured earlier, here are bumper selection of red carpet photos from last night’s American Music Awards 2008.

The star-studded event took place at the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles and guests included birthday girl Miley Cyrus (and dad Billy Ray Cyrus), Christina Aguilera, the Jonas Brothers, Pink, Rihanna & boyfriend Chris Brown (who both picked up awards - 2 for Rihanna and 3 for Chris), High School Musical’s Ashley Tisdale & Corbin Bleu, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and - probably feeling like they were on babysitting duty, Sarah Silverman and Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora.

The UK was also represented at the event by Leona Lewis, Annie Lennox and Natasha Bedingfield.
