britney spears and madonnaHer divorce and custody arrangements almost settled, Madonna is reportedly focusing her energy on helping Britney Spears keep her life on track.

The two women worked together before Britney’s career break to have her sons Sean and Jayden, and for a time, Britney followed Madonna’s favoured faith, Kabbalah. However shortly before giving birth to second child Jayden - and just before the start of her troubled period, Britney announced she had changed her mind about the Jewish-based philosophy, announcing on her website “i no longer study kaballah (sic). my baby is my religion now.”.

However a source told the Daily Mail: “Madonna is determined she can get Britney back into kabbalah. She has offered her a suite of rooms at her apartment in New York and has told Britney she is her surrogate mother.

“Britney used to wear the red kabbalah bracelet and read the books Madonna gave her and she is thinking about giving it another chance.”

Britney recently performed on stage with Madonna in Los Angeles, as part of the older star’s Sticky & Sweet Tour. She also appeared in a video clip used throughout the tour.
