X Factor’s Diana Vickers & Eoghan Quigg: we’re not going out, just mates

X Factor star Diana Vickers has denied she’s seeing fellow contestant Eoghan Quigg.

The 17 and 16 year old pair have been linked several times after repeated displays of affectionate behaviour on the set of the talent show and, at the weekend, Diana was spotted sharing a cab with Eoghan after Saturday’s show, with the Northern Irish singer holding a single red rose.

An inside source is quoted in the Daily Mail as saying: “They don’t care who knows they’re an item any more. They’re always together and everybody knows they are a couple now.”

But Diana insists there is no romance blooming between them and told New! magazine recently: “There’s nothing going on.

“We’re just like bezzie mates, like little brother and sister.”

The singer added she is still going out with her hometown boyfriend, Chris Jones.
