The singer told Rolling Stone recently that the boys, who turned three and two respectively in September, are “almost like twins” - and that includes their increasingly potty mouths: “They’re so smart, yet so innocent. It’s weird because they’re staring to learn words like ’stupid,’ and [Sean] Preston says the F-word now sometimes.

“He doesn’t get it from us. He must get it from his daddy [Kevin Federline]. I say it, but not around my kids.”

But she thinks they don’t get much else from their dad, who currently has full custody of the pair, “I think they look like me. They don’t look like their father at all.”

She added that it still stuns her to think she’s a mum sometimes and even stranger to think how quickly they’re growing up: “Like, they’re going to preschool now!

“I went there to pick them up on Friday, and seeing them in their little classroom and seeing Jayden being bad or not listening? It’s like, those are mine, and it’s just crazy, you know what I mean?”
