Angelina Jolie: I worried about getting pregnant during stressful filming

Angelina Jolie has revealed she was worried about trying for a baby while filming Changeling last year.

Earlier this month, she revealed that she and partner Brad Pitt had started trying to get pregnant as she started filming the drama about a kidnapped child and by the end of production, she was expecting what became their twins, Knox and Vivienne.

But she explained recently that she was worried that playing the difficult role might stress her out too much to conceive: “It was like, ‘Do you want to start a pregnancy in this high emotional state?’ I felt so raw.

“Now we joke that maybe we had too much energy because we ended up with twins! It was a huge surprise - we both got hysterical with laughter when we found out.

“Twins are on Brad’s mother’s side, so we had joked about the possibility, but didn’t think it would happen. But it’s been great.”

The couple welcomed their children, a boy and a girl, in July this year and the new additions took their tally of children up to six.
