Jonas Brothers deny rumours that Kevin Jonas wants to go solo

The Jonas Brothers have denied rumours that they’re breaking up - or at least about to shed a brother.

The brothers took to their MySpace blog on Friday to deny rumours in Star magazine that Kevin Jonas, who turned 21 last month, wants to quit the band to record a solo album of more “adult music”.

Writing in a group message from the three of them, they wrote: “There is a rumor that one of us is leaving the group. Not true.

“We love what we are doing and hope to do it together for a long time.”

The brothers received their first Grammy Award nomination this week - in the Best Artist category - and added they were “completely freaked out” by it: “we STILL can’t believe it.”
