Amy Winehouse’s husband took her drugs in hospital, claims source

Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder Civil reportedly smuggled drugs into her in hospital last week.

Amy had been admitted to the medical facility ten days earlier after a drug overdose/reaction to medication caused her to have a seizure and Blake had been in rehab himself for just over a month when he is said to failed a drugs test and been told he would have to return to jail.

Amy’s mum Janis Winehouse told Closer magazine: “Blake agreed he would turn himself in if he could see Amy, so they let him into her room.

“I don’t know what happened but I suppose I can imagine.”

A source told the Sun that Amy had been drug-free for the duration of her hospital stay until Blake showed up: “Blake has a lot to answer for. His actions have ruined his wife’s efforts to get clean.”

Amy’s mum added: “We’re all so furious with Blake for what he’s done to Amy.

“He’s very manipulative and I think he’s just playing a hand. He works on Amy’s emotions and is always threatening to kill himself. There’s no doubt that he’s to blame for Amy’s state.

“I don’t even like to call Blake my son-in-law. He’s nothing to me. He’s cost her everything - hundreds of thousands of pounds and her health.”

After breaking the conditions of his early release, Blake is likely to remain in prison now until completing his sentence in 2010.
