Guy Ritchie scared Madonna won’t stick to custody deal, says his dad

Guy Ritchie is reportedly scared that his soon-to-be ex-wife Madonna will break their custody arrangement after their divorce is finalised.

After being based in London since the couple married in 2000, Madonna moved back to New York over the summer with the couple’s children - sons Rocco and David, and Madonna’s daughter from a previous relationship, Lourdes. The couple only officially separated in October but the pair have been granted a quickie divorce on the grounds of Guy’s “unreasonable behaviour” and their marriage will be officially dissolved by the end of the year.

As part of the divorce agreement, they will share physical and legal custody of the children but they will be primarily based in New York with Madonna - and according to Guy’s father, the family are worried their visits to the UK will dry up.

John Ritchie told Closer magazine: “The children are with Madonna at the moment.

“Our worry is that she won’t send them back and Guy hopes she won’t keep them.”

Guy is said to have accepted a lower financial settlement than he could have challenged for, on the condition that he retains regular access to the kids.
