Amy Poehler’s baby cute and cool, says her former SNL co-star Will Forte

Amy Poehler’s former Saturday Night Live co-star Will Forte has described Amy’s newborn son as both “cool” and “beautiful”.

Amy, who aptly starred with Tina Fey in this year’s Baby Mama, gave birth to son Archie in October and after meeting him recently, Forte explained that he couldn’t decide who the boy looks like - Amy or dad Will Arnett.

He told Us Weekly: “I don’t know - he has his own look,”

“He’s a really cool little kid, the cutest, he’s a beautiful baby.”

Prior to Archie’s birth, Amy announced her plans to leave the weekly sketch show after seven years as a core member of the comedy team. As well as raising her new son, she recently signed up for her own show, set to premiere next year.

On the topic of Amy’s departure, Will added it is like a “sister leaving to go to college. She won’t be in the house anymore.

“It’s like a family over there, so it’s really tough to see someone go, especially somebody who meant so much to the show, but she’s still in our lives.”
