diana vickers and eoghan quiggDiana Vickers has said she loves Eoghan Quigg “to bits” and he’s said meeting her was “the best experience” of his life.

The X Factor stars were first linked last month after they were spotted holding hands while out and about - but insisted they were just “bezzie mates”. However, after the show’s final at the weekend, they were spotted kissing as Diana left the after-party for a gig.

Speaking to Heat magazine about the 16 year old, seventeen year old Diana exlpained: “People look at him like he’s a ten-year-old boy or something. He’s not, though, at all - he’s surprisingly grown up.

“He’s very mature… He’s sensitive and very caring and considerate…He can be very silly too, though.

“I had such a hard time in the [contestants’] house and Eoghan was the one who kept me grounded… I’d get really paranoid and nervous about stuff, but he would stop me feeling that way because he’s so much fun and always want to have a laugh. He’d take my mind off all those pressures.

“I just had the best time with him, and was always laughing til my tummy hurt.”

Diana only split from her boyfriend of eight months Chris Jones last week and insists she didn’t cheat on him with Eoghan - and she doesn’t really know what will happen with the love triangle in the future: “I can’t say… It depends what happens… right now I’m not going to think about anything like that.

“I’m going to make sure I spend some time with Chris at Christmas, and who’s to say what’s going to happen in the future? I can’t wait to see Eoghan more… I dunno what’s going to happen.”

Eoghan, who came third overall in the series behind boyband JLS and eventual winner Alexandra Burke, is as equally non-commital: “[Meeting Diana was] the best experience of my life.

“She’s a really lovely girl and we have got a strong bond together. [But] we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.”
