madonnaMadonna’s spokesperson has confirmed that Guy Ritchie will receive between £50-60million in the couple’s divorce.

Publicist Liz Rosenberg is believed to have released a statement containing details of the split after Madonna became infuriated that Guy was suggesting he was taking no money from her at all in the separation.

The couple, who announced their split in October and are likely to be officially divorced by the end of the year, were previously said to have agreed to Guy taking their Wiltshire country estate, valued at around £12million, Madonna’s share in their £3million London pub The Punchbowl and a lumpsum payment of a few million. However, now Rosenberg has told Access Hollywood the final sum will be more than that and she assumes “it’s one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement.”

The sum is said to be made up of the Wiltshire estate, the Punchbowl and around £2.4million in cash - but will also include a £4million London home, where Guy is currently living, a provision of around £3million to buy a property in New York close to Madonna’s home in the city and a second provision of around £15million to buy another London property of equivalent value to their marital home (which comprised of an £8million Georgian townhouse and an adjoining £7million mews house).

He is also expected to be allowed to keep around £5million in artwork installed at the properties he’s keeping and other gifts from during there marriage, and will receive regular maintenance payments for the couple’s sons Rocco and David until the boys come of age, which could be as much as £15million in total.

Rosenberg added that custody arrangements for the couple’s children have also yet to be officially finalised and while Madonna will be spending Christmas in London, “it is doubtful she will be spending it with the ex.”

A source told the Mirror: “Both parties are keen to get all terms agreed as soon as possible - whether it be money or where the children live.”
