Paris Hilton sparks Benji Madden reconciliation rumours

Paris Hilton has sparked rumours that she may be about to reconcile with ex-boyfriend Benji Madden.

The pair, who split up last month after eight months of dating, arrived within minutes of each other for the opening of the new Dolce & Gabbana boutique in Beverly Hills on Monday night.

Sources at the store say Paris cut short her red carpet interviews to greet the Good Charlotte star and waved away photographers as the pair chatted in a private corner of the boutique.

An onlooker explained: “Everyone wanted to chat to Paris or get a photo taken with her but she only had eyes for Benji.

“They first chatted inside then went out onto the smoking patio together for more privacy. They were close as they talked and both smiling a lot.

“They finished their relationship on good terms but it seemed like more than two friends just catching up.”

Benji later left the party with brother Joel Madden and his fiancee Nicole Richie, and when asked about a possible reconcilation by photographers as she left the event with sister Nicky Hilton, Paris simply smiled.

During their relationship, both Paris and Benji made frequent suggestions that they wanted to marry and have children together - but they are said to have split up because Benji was too controlling of the socialite.
