Victoria Beckham: my style is very much British school teacher

Victoria Beckham has said she doesn’t think her move to Los Angeles last year has changed her style at all.

The former Spice Girl initially dallied with a more US-style - with a blonde “sun-kissed Californian look” before her family’s move to the US in July last year - but has since returned to her trademark tight dresses because that’s what suits her best.

She told Company magazine recently: “[My style hasn’t changed], not at all. I am very British in my style. Think school teacher!

“I love pencil skirts and fitted blouses, classic cut dresses and well fitted jeans mixed with classic tailoring.

“It’s always good to know what suits you. Your signature style is whatever makes you feel happy, confident and sexy.

“Of course it’s always good to mix things up every now and again too. Push the boundaries and evolve your style. Have fun, but be realistic. Don’t follow the crowd - go your own fabulous way!”

The WAG recently launched her own line of exclusive dresses at Selfridges in London.
