Brad Pitt: we’ll move to France and settle down for the kids’ sake
Despite their growing family, the couple have travelled extensively over the past few years to make films in different countries and attend premieres & festivals, including filming Brad’s new release The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in New Orleans, Angelina’s film Wanted in Prague and most recently, moving to Berlin for Brad’s work in Quentin Tarantino’s forthcoming WW2 film Inglourious Basterds. They also spent a few months in Namibia in Africa for the birth of daughter Shiloh in 2006 and spent last summer in the south of France for the Cannes Film Festival and for the birth of twins Knox & Vivienne in July.
Now Brad has revealed that they’re going to head back to France - to their new home in the country - once they’re done with their current raft of film commitments: “I’ve been dragging them all from continent to continent lately, so we’re going to have to give them a break soon.
“For the long term, right now, we’re choosing France.
“It’s good living there, a really nice way of life. It’s a place where the kids can run free and not be hassled - we have a good relationship with the locals, and it’s a good base for the family.”
Oldest son, seven year old Maddox has attended classes at French language schools in New Orleans, New York and Prague during the family’s travels.
