Kate Hudson: I want to stay single for as long as possible

Kate Hudson has said she hopes to stay single for “as long as possible” because it’s a novel experience for her.

The Bride Wars star married Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson in 2000 when she was just 20 then after splitting from him in the summer of 2007, went on to have an 18 month on-off relationship with Owen Wilson, followed by three month romance with Lance Armstrong.

However since splitting from Lance in July this year, she’s been single and told In Style magazine that she likes it: “I’m actually enjoying being single right now because I really never have been.

“I feel good in relationships. I enjoy them, so I feel my best when I’m in something solid. But it’s also the first time I’ve ever taken a step back and gotten a new perspective.”

“So, I’ve made a conscious decision to try and stay single as long as possible.”
