Jim Carrey has revealed he’d like to appear on Broadway - but doesn’t know whether he could handle it.

The Yes Man star started out as a stand-up comedian before his movie career took off and explained recently that he feels the need to get back on a stage in front of a live audience.

He told Larry King: “I would love to do it. I hope I could do it.

“[But] I wonder if I would get tired of saying the same words over and over again.

“I ran into Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane when they were doing The Producers and they looked like they wanted to string themselves up backstage. They were like, ‘The jokes, the 750,00th time I’ve said the jokes’.”

But he added that he still thinks he’d like to give it a shot: “I want to do everything in this lifetime.”
